An experienced dentist and business owner based in Easton, Maryland, John V. Louis, DMD, is a member of the American Dental Association and the American Academy of Periodontology, among several additional professional affiliations. John V. Louis, DMD, has owned and operated Centers for Specialized Dentistry since 1995. He also owns and operates Centers for Specialized Dentistry in Salisbury, Maryland.

Dr. Louis has published numerous articles on dental and periodontal topics and co-authored a case report about soft tissue ridge augmentation. He is an experienced presenter on periodontics and dental implant surgery.

John V. Louis, DMD, was an academic All-American as a math student at Vanderbilt University. He earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the prestigious University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine, where he received the Senior Student Award and Excellence in Four-Handed Dentistry honors. He completed a two-year Periodontics certificate program at the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine. In addition to his work as a Periodontist, he and his wife lead Halo’s Haven Rescue, a 501(c)(3) animal and equine rescue.
